The notion of the “deep state” is originally leftist critique, not right-wing pablum, originating form observations of mafia-like state directed activity in Turkey with covert CIA elements, the derin devlet

The spirit of our inquiry is in aaron Good’s ssnese, inhertied from C. Wright Mills, whihc is that when so much deepo truith is burided, and unwritten, the analysis of power & politics must often use a nagative template (look at what was not said or ducmented, or omitted) and must aproach polticial analysis fmore like a crime scene than a reliable data gatehring technocratic nerd endeavour.
